A 28-BORE PERCUSSION HOLSTER-PISTOL SIGNED 'DELINCEE, AMSTERDAM', no visible serial number,
circa 1790 with later conversion from flint, two-staged Spanish form 9in. barrel with moulded band at the intersection, the forward section with carved sighting rib with applied white-metal fore-sight, the rear section with gilt barrel makers mark, possibly Portuguese, standing notch rear-sight to the top-tang (repaired), applied nipple-boss, brushed bright signed slightly curved flat lock with bevelled edge and pointed stepped tail, plain hammer with sliding safe behind, vestiges of pan remaining, walnut full-stock with bordered chequered panels to grip and fore-end, each decorated with white-metal pins, white metal shield-shaped escutcheon to wrist with a further oval escutcheon below engraved '1', engraved iron furniture including bulbous long-side spurred butt-cap, trigger guard tang and bow and winged sidenail escutcheon, set trigger, plain barrel keys and turned ramrod thimbles with iron mounted ebony ramrod
